Customers
We have a depth of client experience based on 30 years of working with occupiers. Customers we have worked with include:
British Waterways
Advised on the development and sales options for surplus land holdings at Paddington Basin, and subsequently negotiating the development agreement with Trafalgar House. This was at the time the UK’s largest public/private sector joint venture agreement and provided BWB with operational funding for several years.
Cable & Wireless
Following a strategic review of UK and overseas companies we raised c.$300 million from property disposals, including surplus sites and buildings, sale and leasebacks. In 2001 we undertook a review of C&W’s global internet operations and managed the 12 month programme which delivered £19.6 million P&L benefit year 1 and £30 million in its first full year.
ITV
Appointed by ITV Board to undertake a strategic review of the opportunities for studio rationalisation and adoption of new technology following acquisition of Carlton Communications. We identified and set the framework for realisation of full alternative use value from disposals of Central Television Studios, Nottingham and Tyne Tees, Newcastle and developed the pilot concept whereby ITV could achieve significant cost savings and operational efficiencies through adopting new technology.
Logica
One of the world’s leading software development houses. We provided the company with high level strategic consultancy advice to rationalise and improve their real estate portfolio. In a period of three years we developed and managed strategic initiatives which delivered a 30% reduction in size and cost of the UK portfolio.
Remploy
The UK’s largest employer of the disabled in the UK, funded by H.M. Treasury. Remploy is currently being transformed from a manufacturing to a training organisation. We advised on the strategy to deliver the transformation and developed the concept and instigated the implementation process to restructure the property portfolio.
WPP GROUP
Advised WPP Group, the world’s largest integrated Media group, between 1994 and 2008, when its global real estate portfolio grew from five million to 15 million sq ft. We also managed its EMEA property portfolio and undertook a series of high level and local strategic reviews to assess opportunities for integration, consolidation and rationalisation. We developed benchmarking and performance measurements to monitor continuous improvement and instigated the global best practice regime, business case and Capex and approvals processes. These were embedded in Space Program, the intranet based communications tool.
